Promoting the voice of young people in the decisions of local authorities and promoting the objectives of sustainable development in the 2030 Agenda.
Smiles on the faces of young and old in our community, who tell each other about civic actions related to the 2030 Agenda.
The problem we are trying to solve:
Lack of civic activism in Moldova and promotion of global objectives in the Republic of Moldova. We lose whole generations, because they are oriented towards some wrong values (drugs, alcohol, physical abuse, etc.) and we lose the chance to implement the 2030 Agenda in the Republic of Moldova.
The solution we are proposing:
We want to promote our beautiful experiences in the rest of Moldova. At the same time, our young people from Chiperceni should have a demonstration in the country's capital (this being a center of national interest). It will change people's attitudes towards global goals and we will strengthen a social stratum of social activists.
We will encourage and teach young people to be ambassadors of the 2030 Agenda. We really already have tangible results (every year we win 2-3 grants of about 500 - 2000 euros).
What success looks like for us:
"How do you know your work has an impact on youth in your community? We want to have systematic meetings (ideally every two weeks), and our young people to become true ambassadors of the 2030 Agenda."
Where we are are based:
Village Chiperceni, district Orhei; Moldova
Funding we are applying for:
$14,000 - $15,000 per year
How this funding will help us achieve our goals:
These funds will allow us to show them that their expectations are not vain dreams, but a reality. So they can act not only from inspiration and motivation, but also with some outside help.
How this funding will strengthen our group:
"Moldova is the poorest country in Europe, every penny is important to us when it comes to strengthening the structure. We will ensure a stable meeting space, the continuous training of young people, some needs for the realization of their ideas and the consolidation of a long-term strategic plan."
How we gain by being a Spark Fund partner:
"Yes, we want to become partners. We are interested in the visit of your experts to us, as well as in the visit of our young people to other partners of yours."
How we would like to spend a grant through the Spark Fund:
Salary of youth coordinator, rent of space, utilities, office supplies, school supplies for kids, staff trainings and consultants for strategic panning.
Our Annual Income:
Around 4000 euros
Our Organization Structure:
"We are a group of about 30 young people (only the leader is older than 30 years). Decisions are made together at our general meetings."
Experienced members help implement young people's dreams, as does this actual application.
Yes, we are youth-led, that means promoting civic spirit.
